London: Underground  staff on 48-hour strike over plans to close ticket offices .  The strike is in reaction of announcing the closure of ticket offices from next year that will result in 750 people job less. About 3 millions of people who travel each day through tubes are being suffering and people are looking for other commutes to travel.  British Prime Minister David Cameron described the strike as ''shameful''.

London Mayor Boris Johnson said that only 3% of passengers are using the window to take a ticket and rest of the people are using electronic system, while staff union head Bob Crow argued that this plane is making hundreds of people jobless. Also the visitors from Europe and other countries will face problem at stations because most of them feel difficulty to use electronic system. Bob Crow also said that it was not part of the election campaign to reduce the underground tube staff so this planing is not acceptable.

Another two days strike is announced on Friday 11.
